Criteria

The following criteria are used to determine eligibility for membership in The CEO Place™

  1. You must have held the position of CEO, President, COO, GM, Group Executive, or Chairperson, for at least 12 months.

  2. In that capacity you had P&L responsibility for a stand-alone business. That business could be a total company or corporation or an element of a larger business such as a division, group of divisions, or other business unit responsible for its own P/L.

  3. In that position you had organizational responsibility for multiple functions reporting to you (e.g., sales, operations, marketing, development, finance, etc). Running a field sales office where the only function reporting to you was sales, for example, does not qualify.

  4. The qualifying business must meet certain additional criteria. To be eligible for membership the business must meet or exceed at least 2 of the following:
    • Minimum annual revenues of $250K;
    • A minimum of 5 employees, who were paid a cash salary (employees paid only in stock or options are not counted); and,
    • A minimum of one outside director on your Board of Directors (Advisory Boards are not considered).

  5. As a condition of membership, CEOs of service provider firms (attorneys, accountants, etc.) are ONLY accepted on the condition that, in addition to the above criteria, they agree not to actively solicit any business from The CEO Place™ members.
  6. In order to ensure a quality networking experience for all of our CEOs, the CEO Place reserves the right to not accept for membership any candidate or guest who does not meet the membership criteria listed above. The CEO Place further reserves the right to reject as a Guest and to not allow entrance to our meeting any Guest who does not meet the membership criteria set forth above. Determination of whether a candidate or guest meets the membership criteria will solely be on the judgement of the CEO Place and its Chairman and/or Membership Committee or Board of Advisors.
  7. The CEO Place does not discriminate based on gender, race, ethnic background, veteran status, age, or sexual preference.
  8. The CEO Place reserves the right to change this membership criteria at any time; however such criteria will only apply to new members or guests who apply or former members whose membership has lapsed.
  9. The CEO Place reserves the right to immediately terminate the membership of any Member who violates our Non Disclosure (NDA) form, or any of our rules. Such termination will be solely based be on the judgment of the CEO Place, its Chairman, its employees and/or Membership Committee and/or Board of Advisors. Any member whose membership is terminated will have a pro-rata portion of their annual dues returned to them.
  10. The CEO Place, its Chairman, its employees and/or Membership Committee, and/or Board of Advisors, and/or Committees are in no way responsible for candidates or guests who are not admitted for membership. The CEO Place, its Chairman, its employees and/or Membership Committee, and/or Board of Advisors, and/or Committees are in no way responsible for candidates or guests whose membership is terminated.
