The purpose of our Guest Policy is to allow CEOs who are reluctant to join The CEO Place unless they have a chance to see an actual meeting. To facilitate that, we have a guest policy that operates as follows:
- Guests may attend one meeting only. Attendance at any other meeting can only be if the Guest joins the CEO Place as a member. Additionally, the Guest may only attend the main meeting. The Career Subgroup meeting may not be attended by a Guest. Guests will not be furnished a membership list or any other advantage of full membership.
- Guests must be sponsored by a current member in good standing of The CEO Place. If you do not know any members, please contact the Administrator by clicking on Contact Us, and she will have a member contact and interview you. In order to protect our membership and the quality of our organization and meetings, we require that all Guests be sponsored.
- The Guest must meet all of the membership criteria listed in the Join section of the Website. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring member to ensure that Guest meets the membership criteria. The CEO Place reserves the right to not allow entrance to a Guest who does not meet the membership criteria, and/or to not accept for membership any Guest who does not meet the membership criteria.
- The sponsoring member should contact the CEO Place administrator at least one week prior to the meeting, and notify that the Guest is planning to attend. The Guest’s name, and company they are running (if applicable), and contact information including email and phone should be provided.
- The Administrator will email a non-disclosure (NDA) form to the Guest for review. The Guest should bring a signed copy to the meeting, or else will be asked to sign a form upon arriving at the meeting. No Guest may enter the meeting without signing the NDA. No changes to the NDA are allowed.
- Upon arrival at the meeting, the Guest will be signed in by the Administrator, and will be provided a name badge. Guests will pay the same meeting fee as regular members to defer the costs of the breakfast and room.
- After the meeting, the Guest will be contacted to see if they are interested in joining. Historically, most of the Guests that have attended have joined, however you will be under no obligation or pressure to join.
