Randal Chinnock is a physicist/engineer, program manager, and entrepreneur with a background in product development, manufacturing, marketing, and general management. He attended Johns Hopkins University and the University of Colorado, obtaining a B.S. in Engineering Physics in 1978. For 27 years he has been working in the areas of opto-mechanical and electro-optical devices. His experience includes stints at Varian Associates, ILC Technology, United Detector Technologies, Dolan-Jenner Industries, and Smith & Nephew Endoscopy. In 1991 He founded endoscope company Henke Sass Wolf of America, and in 3 years built the company to 25 employees and $4M in sales.
In 1994 he founded Optimum Technologies, Inc. ®, where he continues to serve as President and Program Manager. OTI is a full-service Product Development and Early Stage Manufacturing company specializing in the use of light to diagnose and treat disease. The firm works closely with clients' teams to bring superior products to market quickly and cost-effectively. Services include:
